About the Artist
Mel is a non-binary, neurodivergent Newfoundlander. Art has been a constant in Mel's life from a young age. They are inspired by many things such as bright colours, repeating patterns of lines, reflections in water, the texture of fur, or the shape of a shadow. Their work combines representational and impressionistic elements to create pieces that are both realistic and emotional.
